Imagine this: you’re on the road, in a hotel room.
You’ve been working out at the gym for months on end and you don’t want to skip a single workout.
But you don’t have a gym nearby.
In fact, the only piece of equipment you’ve got is your own body and the furniture around you.
Which doesn’t seem like much, but trust me – that’s all you need.
I’ve spent countless nights in hotels across the United States and I rarely miss a single workout.
Why?
Because I’ve learned how to keep my on-the-road workouts simple.
So today, I’m going to show you the workout routine I use when traveling.
Write it down so you don’t forget and you won’t have to worry about losing your gains anymore!
Push-ups
Push-ups are one of the best bodyweight exercises ever.
Not only are they incredibly simple and easy to learn, but they’re also crazy effective.
With different variations, you can target your whole upper body.
Pistol squats
Pistol squats are a bit more advanced variation of squats.
Since pistol squats are unilateral exercises, -meaning that you use only one side of your body while performing them, - they’re a great way to train stability.
Plus, lifting your whole weight on one leg is not easy.
That’s why pistol squats are perfect if you want to develop your lower body strength without any equipment.
Pull-ups
Another classic exercise.
The only thing you need to perform pull-ups is some kind of a horizontal bar.
Handstand push-ups
Handstand push-ups are the advanced variation of push-ups.
They’re perfect for developing your shoulder strength, with a focus on your front delts.
If you can’t do a normal handstand push-up, don’t worry.
You can help yourself by leaning your foot against the wall to take some weight off your shoulders.
Burpees
If you want your workouts to be more efficient, why not combine two exercises in one?
That’s exactly what burpees are: squats and push-ups combined.
Burpees are going to elevate your heart rate and train your cardiovascular system, as well as, your muscles.
---
You see, training while you’re away is not complicated.
If you master these 5 exercises I’ve mentioned, you’ll never have to worry about gym memberships in other cities or countries.
Stay fit my friend,
