Why You Should Avoid Seed Oils Like The Plague

Why You Should Avoid Seed Oils Like The Plague

Three things that all fitness enthusiasts should avoid are:

Refined carbs, excessive sugar, and seed oils.

But if I had to choose, seed oils would be the worst.

Seed oils are a general term for different oils created from plant seeds.

Such as canola oil, palm oil, vegetable oil, corn oil, soy oil, and the like.

Despite being associated with vegetables, these oils are far from being healthy or natural.

And here's why:

Seed oils are created by excessive heating which makes them highly unstable and oxidative (prone to inflammation) in the body.

Seed oils are also high in polyunsaturated fats.

A fat that becomes toxic for human cells when over-consumed. Which is easy because almost every snack you can think of contains seed oil.

Worse yet, cooking with seed oils at high heat can convert it to a VERY UNHEALTHY TRANS FAT!

And seed oils effects are even worse when combined with red meat.

Only recently have scientists begun to expose how harmful seed oils are for the human body.

And why we should avoid them!

They are linked to a ton of chronic conditions.

As you can see, vegetable oil is okay for powering vehicles, lubricating machinery, or fueling fire.

But it's NOT good for the human body.

So the big question is what oils are healthy fats?

Simple: Olive Oil (Extra Virgin), Avocado, Walnut, Coconut, and good old fashioned butter!

I'll dig deeper into the healthy fats and oils in one of our July Blogs (but wanted to at least provide heathy options as I am delivering a bit of bad news on seed oils)

In the interim, do your own research, and I'm sure you'll come to the same conclusions.

Stay fit my friend,
