Can You Drink Alcohol & Build Muscle?

Can you drink alcohol and build muscle?

Most people don’t realize that building muscle and strength requires a certain amount of sacrifice.

(Basically, the better results you want, the more sacrifice you need to make.)

They think drinking a couple of beers every other day won’t interfere with their fitness goals just because they’re not getting drunk.

The truth, however, is completely different.

Even in the smallest amounts, alcohol will cause inflammation which means you’re not going to rest properly between your workouts.

The inflamed body will spend most of its energy and nutrients to repair the vital organs such as the stomach and liver.

So the muscles won’t repair as effectively as they would otherwise.
