Can You Drink Alcohol & Build Muscle?

Can You Drink Alcohol & Build Muscle?

Can you drink alcohol and build muscle?

Most people don’t realize that building muscle and strength requires a certain amount of sacrifice.

(Basically, the better results you want, the more sacrifice you need to make.)

That’s why I often see people getting a drink or two after a workout.

They think drinking a couple of beers every other day won’t interfere with their fitness goals just because they’re not getting drunk.

The truth, however, is completely different.

Even in the smallest amounts, alcohol will cause inflammation which means you’re not going to rest properly between your workouts.

The inflamed body will spend most of its energy and nutrients to repair the vital organs such as the stomach and liver.

So the muscles won’t repair as effectively as they would otherwise.

Besides that, alcohol will mess up muscle protein synthesis, especially if you drink it right after the workout.

The result?

If you’re not resting and the protein synthesis is messed up, you won’t build nearly as much muscle as you would without alcohol.

In fact, it wouldn’t be a surprise if your muscle growth was halted 100%.

I’ve met several guys over the years who trained as often as I did with almost no results to show for it.

Why?

Because they’ve been drinking daily and getting wasted on weekends.

So if you want to get the gains your body is capable of, you should definitely avoid alcohol.

But if you really enjoy a drink with your friends, make sure you drink only one day a week.

And don’t overdo it when you drink.

Not only that you won’t be in the best shape for a workout tomorrow, but your body will also feel the effects of alcohol poisoning for days!

So, that was bad news… but I’ve got good news for you as well.

You see, there’s a little trick you can use to stimulate muscle protein synthesis and help your body recover after a night of drinking.

What’s the trick?

The trick is to take Oh!mino Muscle Synthesis Activator BEFORE and AFTER you go drinking.

For example, if you’re going out with friends, you take one scoop before you leave the house…

And then another scoop as soon as you come back, before going to bed.

I’ve tried it and it works like magic!

You’re going to feel much better the day after and you won’t lose any strength or gains.

I recommend taking the Oh!mino variant that doesn’t have caffeine in it.

Because caffeine is a diuretic and your body is going to be dehydrated from alcohol so you don’t want to make things worse with caffeine.

You don’t have to sacrifice gains for alcohol, or vice versa.

But you have to be smart about it – drink in moderation and take Oh!mino to help your body function at the highest level all the time!
