If you look good, you feel good.
And when you feel good, you play good.
And when you play good, they pay good.

In my last blog I shared a couple of tips that'll get your summer body in tip-top shape. But, it's not just about feeling great.
We want to look good, too.
Besides, we were in lockdown last year.
So, I think it's only right that we flex our muscles extra hard in 2021.
Here are 5 tips for getting that summer look. Now, it's Monday and we're back to the old grind.
1. Hydrate Some More:
Yesterday, I mentioned the importance of hydration for your bodily health.
But drinking water (plus electrolytes) has tons of aesthetic benefits, as well.
People who stay hydrated have better skin, thicker hair, and are better at fighting sunburn.
The only downside to drinking enough water is the frequent bathroom breaks.
It's recommended that you get 1 oz. per pound of bodyweight.
2. Cut The "Crap":
We all know that diet is important for our physique.
But it's important for looks, as well.
Excessive sugar and alcohol are proven to accelerate the skin's aging process.
It's best to cut down on these things and opt for foods filled with vitamins and nutrients.
Which make your body run better. And look better too!
3. Invest In Some Cosmetic:
Now, if you're a lady, you already know that investing in your appearance can go a long way.
But for the guys, simple things like higher-grade body lotion can really help you achieve that picture-perfect look.
I'll just leave it at that.
4. Get Adequate Sleep:
Sleep matters. And not getting enough sleep shows in your looks and daily performance.
There are tons of apps, specialized beds, and sleep positions, that can help you get the most out of your rest.
Remember... 6-8 hours.
5. Build Muscle and/or Burn Fat:
Now I always get asked, "How can I get better biceps and abs?"
The simple way is to make them grow.
And you do that by increasing the stress load on them.
Lifting weights is the best way to build bigger muscles and look strong.
There's no way around it.
Now after you've done that, you'll want to burn fat.
Which there are a number of ways to do.
You can burn fat by:
- Weightlifting
- Cycling
- Running
- Swimming
...or even punching a heavy bag
Just make sure you're eating fewer calories than you're taking in.
Hope this helps.
