Monday MythBuster #19: "Isolation Exercises Are Old School"

Monday MythBuster #19: "Isolation Exercises Are Old School"

How are those New Year's resolutions coming along?

Getting closer to your fitness goals?

Can you kick your 2020 body's butt yet?

Well, worry not!

Because I have 2 tips that'll make you stronger and faster in no time.

Tip Number 1:

Start doing isolation exercises.

And if you already do them?

Double down on them.

Isolation exercises are movements that strengthen one specific muscle or joint.

A lot of "gurus" in the fitness space preach that isolation exercises are dead... they're old school, boring, and unrealistic.

And we should embrace CrossFit and bodyweight exercises instead.

But they couldn't be more wrong. Now don't get me wrong, I love CrossFit, but Isolation workouts have some of the highest returns on investment when it comes to building strength.

In fact, Scientists at Tuft university found that a simple leg press increased the walking speed of elderly men by almost 50%.

Imagine what they could do for you?

So my friend, isolation exercises are NOT dead.

You can combine isolation exercises with high intensity workouts to become a well-rounded athlete.

You're only as strong as your weakest link.

And isolation exercises ensure that there are no weak links in your physique.

Tip number 2?

Get on Oh!mino ASAP. Seriously...

It's the best stuff on the market. But, I'm sure you already knew that :-)
